The Canada Community Security Program (CCAP) provides federal funding to help eligible organizations improve security at community gathering spaces that may be at risk of hate motivated incidents or crimes.
Approved projects can receive funding covering up to 70% of eligible costs, with a maximum contribution of $1.5 million per project.

Protective Barriers
Lighting
Security Personnel
Anti Graffiti Spray
Training
Who Benefits from CCSP?
The program supports organizations such as:

- Community centres
- Certain not for profit educational institutions
- Shelters serving victims of gender based violence
- Community linked administrative offices
- Cemeteries
- Schools
- Licensed child care centres
Applications are accepted through a continuous intake process, meaning organizations can apply throughout the year.
